National Walk to Work Day. Another brilliant concept ! Ha!
April 4th is National Walk to Work Day. The organisers, if that word isn’t too grand for those who came up with this concept, are very understanding people. For those who work too far from their home to make walking practical, they suggest that the elevator should be ditched and stairs used.
I probably stay an hour and a half to two hours walk from downtown Boston. I work on the 29th floor. Are these people going to provide rest and drink stops every, shall we say, 10 floors? In the absence of that, I await their thoughtful suggestion on what people should do if they both work too far from their home and too high in the sky.
